Since March 2012 Professor Thomas Rades is the Research Chair in Pharmaceutical Design and Drug Delivery in the Department of Pharmacy, University of Copenhagen. Professor Rades has developed an international reputation for his research in the physical characterization of drugs solid dosage forms as well as in drug and vaccine delivery using nanoparticulate systems (both polymeric and lipid based). Prof Rades has published more than 340 papers in international peer review journals as well as several book chapters, patents and three books. Prof Rades is an Editor of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the European Journal of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology.
